SportDOG Brand, an industry-leading manufacturer of electronic dog training products and accessories, has introduced an innovative Launcher System that can be customized to create a huge variety of sporting dog training scenarios.

The Launcher System addresses the need for retriever and pointing dog trainers to present live birds and dummies in situations that mimic real-world situations. The system can launch live birds and dummies from up to 1⁄2-mile away. It can be used to reinforce steadiness and improve marking in retriever training, and reinforce steadiness to the flush in pointing dog training.

The complete Launcher System consists of a Transmitter and Receiver, and a Launcher Basket that holds and releases the bird or dummy. The Transmitter can be set to control up to four Receivers, and each Receiver can control up to 9 devices. In expanded mode, the Transmitter can control up to 36 independent Receivers. Receivers are also compatible with other manufacturers’ launchers and wingers using SportDOG cables.

To add realism to training situations, the Transmitter can signal the Receiver to emit a loud duck quack, pheasant cackle or shotgun report. By varying sounds between the Transmitter and Receivers, and altering sounds, the system provides countless options for training for hunting, hunt tests and field trials.

All parts of the Launcher System are waterproof and submersible. The Transmitter and Receiver provide up to 80 hours of battery life and quickly and efficiently recharge to full capacity in only two hours.

The system can be purchased as a kit or as individual components: SD-LAUNCHER-KIT – Includes Transmitter, Receiver and Launcher Basket SD-BASKET-R – Receiver and Launcher Basket only
SD-LAUNCHER-TR – Transmitter and Receiver only

SD-LAUNCHER-R – Receiver only (Receiver is compatible with eight SportDOG remote trainer models of Transmitters).

The SportDOG Brand Launcher System will be available through major sporting dog supply outlets and hunting/outdoor sports retailers beginning in March.
